I’m stuck here at home right now, sick and all…  I turn on FB and see this

I ride on this line all the time.  Scary, huh?!?

The disappointing thing about this weekend is that it actually has to end.  You then find yourself on a very manic workday, especially when you start hating it - the job.

I had a conversation last Friday with my former manager - basically our annual one-on-one.   I came out of that meeting quite nostalgic and satisfied about my stint with the team and the company.  My last three and a half years in the firm has been an adventure.  I have gone through a lot of downers, but in those times I have also found people, in high places, that believed in me.  That’s why I felt nostalgic and grateful.  I thanked him, and essentially the other manager that believed in me.

There is a lot of closure going around, as far as my meetings and these annual talks are concerned.  When I think of my past times with the firm, I am happy.  That’s in a lot of contrast to my present predicament, night and day contrast, because presently I am not happy there.

I just pray that the change will happen soon.  Very soon, I plead…

Just push on, whatever happens!!!

My engines are running on this mantra these days.  There may be a lot of disappointments and mishaps that can discourage me, that is given when you are creating a new path for yourself.  I have decided to push on with blinders and all, with guns blazing… etc etc

Whatever debacle I encounter, this time I will choose to move forward with unrelenting hope.

Mediocrity sets in when a person surrenders his right to navigate his fate to another entity.  Let’s say to lay the blame of non-progress to your firm, government or even poverty, that’s surrendering your individual mastery over your own destiny to them.

This is how I think about it: although He has given all these guidelines and laws, and He put the universal karmaic law in the universe, even God granted men free will.  I take that as a hint.  We are ultimately the masters of our fate.

Last Sunday, I woke up with a hunger - a hunger for something better in an aspect of my life.  The feeling has not left me since.  I think this is a pain that I will continue to bear until I have settled into a new path

Time to face this challenge again, with hunger and passion this time.

I’ve met quite a few people who take too much time enumerating their hindrances and shortcomings, that they entirely miss the bus… if you know what I mean. Well, this message is not for them, since I also made it a point not to try to sway them to a more positive point of view. It’s so fruitless that it will just ruin our day hehe

Prayers are very seldom answered immediately.  Sometimes, what we ask isn’t even answered at all.  But it is not up to us to question if God has abandoned us in our present endeavor, because he never does that.  Maybe the question is if we are ready to receive what we ask.  Even if we think we are ready, maybe in God’s infinite wisdom, He sees that we are not; if we will ever be, well that is another possible answer.

You see, maybe right now you feel  that what you want is what you need, but maybe God has other plans for you; plans that are likely bigger than what you have for yourself

Maybe the non-answer by God is an answer in itself - the divine intent of our very own prayers.
