Relaxing

Published by midnightanxiety under Fun

Saw this template at Photofunia - SM Cebu City :-D

Which reminded me about the elite travel club membership I signed up for last Thursday.  I hope I get to use it, work is set to be more hectic soon.  But let’s all think positively :-). I will get to use my great discount when I set off to my island vacays, one of them in Cebu (again). I just know it!

Misty Point

Published by midnightanxiety under Bad Times, Work

Nothing contributes so much to tranquilize the mind as a steady purpose - a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye.
-Mary Shelley

Sometimes your faith flickers when you find your goals blurring beyond the mist of uncertainty.  The situation is all too familiar for me because this is indeed an uncertain time for many.

The Unregrettable Life

Published by midnightanxiety under Friends, Spirituality

Is the word unregrettable even syntactically correct?  Perhaps not, but semantically speaking it does make sense to me.

Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets.

Liberty

My bro and I were looking at plane fares a few days ago.  Perhaps a trip to Davao and to Digos, where we once lived for 3 years, is called for.  Going down south will surely entail going to the beach for an early summer.  I’m a bit excited at the prospect.  I was looking for past summer photos and saw this

Clear Skies

Published by midnightanxiety under Bad Times

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
-Maria Robinson

I have been asking God for his good graces today.  The grace to make me feel better, so that everything else may follow suit.  I also asked for clarity, since my eyes have been puffy with confusion.  I have so much to do :-|

The Mirror is a Bit Off

Life is just a mirror, and what you see out there, you must first see inside of you.
-Wally Amos

Since I live by this principle, I can’t help but be worried about how the next days are going to unfold.  I am feeling a bit off, both physically and emotionally.

New Taxi Numbers

Published by midnightanxiety under News

So I’m stuck here at the office on a Sunday.  I know, pathetic.  I love my job.  Anyway, I try the numbers that I know to get taxis and find that my favorite one - 24/7 taxi - is out.  I further find out that my other numbers are obsolete.

After a little research, here are the updated and active taxi numbers:

With me are Eds and Tet during our walk to get some merienda.

Techie Buses

Published by midnightanxiety under Happy Times, News

Imagine my surprise when, after getting on the bus to work after a long time, the bus conductor whips out his P.D.A. to give me my ticket.

Schadenfreude

Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of how much you already have.

In my case, contentment of what I have compared to this person across me.

Yes We Can

They can because they think they can.
-Virgil

I believe this because I live this everyday.  If one can focus on doing what he dreams of doing, without entertaining the hindrances, rather know or believe that there is a way around them, then nothing is impossible.
