I was with my sister-in-law at the Fort last night. Coming from Davao, she was quite impressed about the place. Of course a visit to KK is imperative.

These are two of the coolest mothers I know. :-)

They had a blast at All Flip-flops. Apparently, there are limited choices of Havs in Davao.

We passed by the dinosaurs of the Fort Strip before going home.

It was a pleasant evening overall. I’m sure they’ll take good memories with them during their visit.

I thank the ever magnificent God for giving me the opportunity to live life to its edges.
To work only for fulfillment.
To act only with conviction.
To think only with peace in focus.

A thousand thanks for giving me the chance to live with utter simplicity and righteousness. Alas, I am most thankful to have been given an ability to see a world of beautiful creation, even in times of dark despair.

My good old Sony Vaio is aching to be replaced. So I’m in the lookout for a good successor. A desktop is what I’m partial to, but if I would go for another laptop, this would be it.

The Lenovo Thinkpad X301
Intel Core 2 Duo ultra-low voltage processors 128GB SSD DisplayPort and VGA connectivity 3G connectivity Optional WiMAX Integrated GPS Ultra Wideband

The ever-reliable Thinkpad. Eyelavet.

There are many life-lessons to learn. But sometimes only a few things are essential.

To focus on Peace, Truth and Happiness. Everything else will follow.
As for me, I visualize in detail, the financial, relational, intellectual, physical and spiritual life that I want - the harmonic wealth that I long for. And yes, everything follows.
Have a great weekend everyone!

It’s fun to take photos in a nice place like this. I have to admit that even if I picked up this hobby more seriously for a few months now, I’m still a hit-or-miss photographer :-)

But you’d be hard-pressed to miss here

For trigger happy people like us…

Sagada is just one of those perfect places.

There…

Anywhere…

Only one thing comes out from our lenses…

Attraversiamo. Let’s cross over.
To hold a friend, a brother, a sister, a lover’s hand as you move into another phase in your life; or to simply cross over to the other sidewalk while strolling the streets of a beautiful city.
Attraversiamo.
Just beautiful. ![]()

Uncharted in a sense that, it’s not in any style I know. This is the Church in the middle of the town in Sagada, Mountain Province.

But who am I to know, It’s just plain beautiful.

Peace!!!

The art beauty of doing nothing. I have to learn to do nothing in a fabulous way.
I’ve been deliriously sleepy and tired these days. My friends were kind of complaining a couple of weeks ago that I looked stressed. I haven’t asked them if that’s still the case but I do feel tired.
Maybe it’s time to visit a spa.
What do you guys do when you decide to do nothing?

The Masterre Country Inn and Restaurant is a resto containing the photography by this famous photographer by the same name. His photos are of the natives in the Mountain Province.

It was prohibited to directly take photos of the art on the walls, much to our trigger happy hands’ disappointment, but the ambiance was great. Sadly, the food was less than stellar and served so late that it was cold. Bad day for the chef?

We had this breakfast before our tomb raiding adventure. ![]()

This is such a beauty - Verizon’s Blitz

According to Engadget
The slider phone will run you $70 with a two year contract, is available now, and includes a few perks like VCAST Music, a microSD slot, 1.3 megapixel camera and stereo Bluetooth to keep your jaded child interested.
I doubt if this will get to Manila.

I may have started with a bunch of people going to this place.

But this trip turned out to be a journey with them, and a personal journey as well.

A journey that taught me to push myself beyond the limits that I know of. I’m convinced, this place I am in right now, like metaphorically speaking - this place in my heart is the happy place.

This is just the most beautiful thing.

This is the small falls at Sagada. It’s quite a walk from the George Guesthouse. Of course like any point there, it’s worth it.

Come in the water’s fine. Actually, ice cold brrrrr

Like ice cold mineral water… promise…

The basin of the falls is 13 feet deep. But after that, as you can see, the water flows into some kind of stone nest you can lie down and relax in.

(Thanks to Mark for this shot.)
What a wonder!

Sorry for the superlatives, but it’s truly beautiful!

So we went to the Log Cabin Inn Buffet.

They serve in batches, of course appetizers and soup are first.

That’s vegetable soup, beans and smoked bacon salad, some bread, yummy butter. The most interesting thing on the plate is the chocolate and chili. The veggies are so fresh here in Sagada, any vegetable viand is just heavenly.

The main course is just divine. I love the tomato tart.

They had the coffee and chocolate desserts too.

Fun and yum Saturday night to prepare us for the adventures ahead.

During my dark years of loss, I admit I had moments of doubt in my belief in God. Yes, even if I had experienced His presence in more ways than one, my weary body, mind and heart resulted in a wavering faith. Admittedly still, when I came out of those experiences, my relationship with God had forever changed. I understood now that God must not only live in the Word, but more importantly in every beat of our hearts. I knew that before, but now I understood with every fiber of my being.
As what is said in one of my most favorite books,
God is an experience of supreme love.
Nowadays, I have a deeper understanding in what God is to me. Beyond the scriptures. Way beyond the commandments. My experiences have led me to believe in one thing - beyond the belief that He exists…
I believe in a magnificent God.
