Look around you… there are many little and simple things that can change your life, if you can just let them! Never miss a chance to enjoy the little and simple things in life because peace, happiness, joy, love and all good things come from little and simple things that are found around us! When you treasure them, they become memories that last forever.

Life-changing events don’t have to come with a big bang. Sometimes when good things come from that, I find it quite artificial and end up waiting for the time when that beautiful facade ends. I still believe in the resilience of a change that has permeated from a place of light. That light is within us all, and it can bring you permanent peace, happiness, joy, love and other good things. It’s just that, more often than not, it can’t be forced.

Just something to think about on another long weekend. God bless

Freaky, right? Apparently it’s a normal occurence. But what would we do when something big finally hits the earth, like, Deep Impact-esque big? Well, to my relief I read about the Deep Impact NASA project that was successfully done 5 years ago - http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2005/28jun_deepimpact/

Someday, someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked with anyone else.

For me, that someday has been everyday of the past year and one month. I’m really glad that I didn’t settle for anything, or anyone less than that perfect fit. Actually, being a perfect fit puts too much pressure, and this relationship has never been that difficult. Which teaches me another thing, that when it comes to the right person, everything should become easy. In effect, the perfect fit becomes the easy fit.

Well, to think that this special thing progressed only when I decided not to actively look for love. Indeed, looking for love is the antithesis of finding love. Our desire to fill that void negates the very state of completeness that we are trying to attract. I know, it’s a conundrum.

That’s the secret to a happy life, I guess. In most aspects, I too am still trying to learn it. To feel the feelings of achieving what we want to have, and just let go of the chase, that takes a lot of muscle memory. For most of us, that is against our nature. So we chase after our dreams and end up riding that unending wheel of discontent.

Learning to exist in the present, and feeling the emotions of being complete, as if our dreams have already been fulfilled, is the sure way to attract and achieve those dreams. The universe itself will move things and circumstances into our favor.

So true, and I can’t do anything right now but to yearn for my bed. I really, really need to sleep, because I almost didn’t have a wink of it last night. I was tossing and turning, and flipping like crazy until morning came. Finally I was granted some, but only about over an hour, before I had to finally end my very long weekend.

I’m supposed to be fresh from vacation today, but sadly am not
