During the Basyang attack, all our neighbors’ roofs decided to park at our garage and garden…
Yes, that’s a statue of St. Michael the Archangel in our garden. I believe he protected the house.

The Metro in general also didn’t fair well against mother nature

Memo from Nature: You puny humans. We could wipe you out with a hiccup.
Very true. All these calamities should tell us something.
We should do our part.

God our heavenly Father, through your Son you promised to those seeking first your kingdom and your righteousness all things necessary for bodily welfare; send us, we pray, in this time of need, rain to water the earth, that we may receive its produce to strengthen and sustain us and always praise you for your bounty; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
This news is quite alarming - 7-hour brownouts affect Butuan businesses… due to the long dry season

After a little research, here are the updated and active taxi numbers:

Imagine my surprise when, after getting on the bus to work after a long time, the bus conductor whips out his P.D.A. to give me my ticket.

I apologize for the very late post, and the frequent outage of this site. For the first time in years I’ve hit the bandwidth limit of Midnightanxiety. This blog has been trending better than it was prepared for. Nevertheless, I will be prepared this time around
I was impatiently waiting for the start of the month, ergo some fresh bandwidth. But Saturday morning was greeted by the storm Santi (international Name Mirinae), which swept over Manila for only 6 or so hours but left a lot of devastation in its wake.
