I have made it my personal goal to finally conquer this activity… well, not like the pics above… they’re all professionals for crying out loud hehe

Yesterday I had Steph take a photo of me at the office.  When I got home I decided to create a new background for my Twitter page - With a Valentine’d Day theme

I love the plant life in Baguio.  The flowers are so beautiful.  Anyway, whenever I saw something interesting I made sure to take a photo, or two, or more hehehe

To train the eye, basically… in photography you also need a little bit of luck.  Well, I’m lucky with this pic

The right amount of natural light, and a beautiful subject in a spontaneous opportunity - yes, that’s luck.

A few hours before the start of yet another long weekend, I find myself in the office.  In my immediate area, there are just a couple of people with me.

Spend some time outside.  Nature has a way like no other to bring new life to our city-weary minds and bodies.

Most everyone must have started their weekends already.  Lucky them.

Breathing in the fresh air heals and rejuvenates us.

For the few of us we’ll just have to endure the next 8 hours.

All our senses are calmed by seeing the sheer majesty of a sunset or deep blue hue of the ocean.

It doesn’t help that the weather outside is dank, damp and sleepy.  The perfect bedweather.

Find simple joy in feeling the naked grass under your feet or feeling the rugged texture of a tree.

I can’t wait for the relaxation to begin.  Have a truely blessed long weekend everyone!!!

I’m out of the office today.  I was not really feeling well when I woke up this morning and just decided to stay indoors.  Anyway,  I found out that the Photography Club’s Faces Gallery is now up, on the net at least.  I have an entry this time around.

Bles with daughter Bea. The yearning on her child’s face could just melt most everyone’s heart. The yearning for that next sweet bite. What a sweet moment between mother and daughter.

Prometheus Heart (May 2007 )

Moon Spirit, do you not know?
That for each passing tide
You wax over my shores each night
The Goddess Sea steals part of mine.

Moon Spirit, do you not sight?
That by each waning time
I’m granted truest night
That gives me hope when stars shine bright

Moon Spirit, do you not feel?
That by each cycle we face
You take my will with such haste
And I surrender in your eternal gaze.

Moon Spirit, please now free me
From the undying shackles of my own heart
So alas I may crumble away
Into the cosmos I’ll find my way…

I was sitting around last Saturday afternoon in my home looking at my window, when I noticed the sunlight shift.  It started to become shadey in a manner that it looked like it was very early in the morning.  Then I remembered a friend and a fellow photog enthusiast tell me that this is the window where it is best to take pictures.  So I got off my lazy butt and started to take pictures

It’s my second sick day today.  My friends at work must be missing me lol.

Yeah right hehehe.  Anyway, in my absence here are my solo pics that I’ve been doing retouch on.  I started on this since I’ve been doing portraits of people as a mini project these past few weeks.  I’ve been using my own photos for practice basically. :-)
